The Youth wish to extend a big thank you to the congregation for their support during the National Youth Gathering. On August 22nd, the youth will give a slideshow presentation to the congregation about its summer activities, highlighting our trip to New Orleans for the National Youth Gathering. As part of it, we’ll lead the adults in a short Bible study about what it means that “We Believe!”.

VBS 2010 Mission Project: Dominican Republic

You can be a part of Project: Dominican Republic! Your gifts during 2010 Vacation Bible School provides much-needed help for kids with disabilities and helps grow new Lutheran churches in the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic, a country where 40 percent of the population lives in deep poverty and unemployment is near 28 percent, needs our help. So, how can you help? We are asking all congregational members to be a part of this mission project. Please bring the following items to church in July: Washcloths and bath towels, Hand towels and absorbent cloth bibs, and Bed sheets (twin and crib)
This joint project of LCMS World Mission and LCMS World Relief and Human Care is part of the summer 2010 Concordia Vacation Bible School.

Faith After School
We are pleased to announce that although Children Inc will be raising fees next year and has a waiting list, we have space available and will be able to offer our high quality program at the same rates as this year (for a full year, that's a savings of $180).
We are taking registrations for the 2010-2011 school year. Please tell friends and neighbors about our quality program and the benefits of busing available and the healthy, Christian atmosphere, which we provide. After school care is from 3-6p every day school is in session, following BCSC school schedule. Busing is available from Southside, St. John White Creek, St. Peter’s St. Bartholomew, and Signature Academy.
Click to Email or call Jennifer Welliver at 342-3587. Registration forms are available online, in the office or on the table in the Narthex.
